This Los Osos residence landscape design embodies a harmonious fusion of Japanese design principles and contemporary coastal architecture. Curated materials, including jade pebbles, concrete, natural wood, and bronze detailing, create an alluring aesthetic that beautifully merges the landscape with the architecture.

The design team was mindful of the residence's coastal location and artfully incorporated California native plants that thrive in the Los Osos coastal zone. This deliberate choice not only enhances the innate beauty of the surroundings but also serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment to preserving the integrity of the coastal ecosystem.

The backyard layout and design ensure an optimal vantage point for capturing the stunning views of Morro Bay and its iconic rock formation. Hardscape materials and plantings were thoughtfully chosen to cultivate a sense of natural integration and harmony with the coastal context, magnifying the inherent beauty of the coastal scenery.
