We are named Contexto (the Spanish translation of "context") because we believe great design comes from listening to people, respecting the authenticity of a place, and finding original, meaningful design solutions to thoughtfully mediate singular local history and complex environmental challenges.

Our unique approach is rooted in a diverse background of experience in the United States and Mexico. The impact of experiencing firsthand the neighborhoods where context is a direct expression of the life within it, has fostered a belief that the surrounding landscape and built environment are the greatest precedents in creating mindful new spaces that are a true reflection of people and place.
