Our Construction Process
Client Agreement and Estimate Approval: The project initiation begins with thorough discussions and review of design plans between the client and the landscape design-build team. Then, a detailed estimate outlining the scope of work, required materials, and associated costs is provided to the client. The project enters the planning phase once the client approves the estimate and agrees to proceed.
Preparation and Planning: With the client's agreement in place, the landscape design team, in collaboration with the construction team, enters the project planning process. Final design plans are carefully reviewed, and any necessary permits are obtained. A comprehensive project timeline is established, ensuring transparent communication and alignment of expectations among all stakeholders.
Site Preparation: Before commencing construction, the site undergoes preparation. This involves clearing existing vegetation or debris, marking boundaries, and addressing any grading or drainage issues to lay a solid foundation for the project.
Hardscape Installation: The construction phase commences with the installation of hardscape elements. This includes pathways, retaining walls, patios, decks, and other structural features, all meticulously executed to meet the design specifications. Our team's attention to detail is thorough, ensuring precise alignment and stability of the structures.
Softscape Installation: After the hardscape installation is completed, the focus shifts to softscape elements. Plants, trees, shrubs, and other greenery are carefully selected and planted according to the design plan. Factors such as sunlight exposure, soil conditions, and spacing requirements are considered to create a cohesive and visually appealing landscape.
Infrastructure Installation: Essential infrastructure elements such as irrigation systems and lighting are installed during this phase. Irrigation systems are designed and implemented to ensure proper plant watering, while lighting systems are strategically placed to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
Finalization and Client Acceptance: The client is invited to walk through the project with the construction team upon completion of construction work. Any final adjustments or touch-ups are made as needed to ensure the client's satisfaction. Once the client approves the finished landscape, the project is officially closed out, and all necessary documentation, warranties, and paperwork are provided.
