This Grover Beach residence called for a landscape design that reflected both the homeowner's personality and the Mediterranean style of the home. Contexto Landscape Design & Build created a landscape that blends seamlessly with the architecture, creating a natural extension of the residence.

A carefully selected Mediterranean-inspired plant palette combines vibrant pops of color with cooler tones, highlighting the balance between fire and water throughout the landscape. The front yard features a decorative landscape wall with a natural stone cap, an inviting wood gate, and warm teal pottery that adds character and charm. Mediterranean olive trees and drifts of Nepeta soften the space and bring the design together.

In the backyard, a fire pit and minimalist seat wall create a welcoming gathering space while maintaining a clean, sculptural look. A bubbling fountain adds a peaceful water element that complements the warmth of the fire feature, creating a balanced and inviting outdoor environment.
